I lost my temper the other day.
I’ve e'er had a temper, simply amongst the Lord’s grace, I commonly command it. But that day, the old Gail raised her ugly caput as well as reminded me she withal wants control.
She does this occasionally, simply this fourth dimension I welcomed her for awhile.
I repented a lot afterward, as well as I was disappointed. I didn't know the old Gail withal had such power!
Ephesians 4:22-24 says, “You were taught, amongst consider to your erstwhile agency of life, to position off your old self, which is existence corrupted yesteryear its deceitful desires; to travel made novel inward the mental attitude of your minds; as well as to position on the novel self, created to travel similar God inward truthful righteousness as well as holiness.”
Yesterday was a reminder that I mustn’t permit my guard down. I must continually renew my mind, abode on God's Word (Colossians 3:16). When I do, the old Gail never sticks around.
