When Cain made an offering to God alongside incorrect motives, God rejected it. But God assured Cain that if he did the correct thing, God would convey him.
But Cain's principal occupation was this: he hated Abel "because [Cain's] actions were evil in addition to his brother's were righteous" (1 John 3:12).
So Cain ignored God's warning, killed his brother, refused responsibility, never repented, in addition to idea he should give-up the ghost off lightly (Genesis 4).
Jude refers to those who follow the "way of Cain" - "looking" religious piece inwardly rejecting the potency of God's words (Jude).
And 1 John 3:12-14 warns that people similar Cain volition persecute people who produce the correct things.
Cain's life warns us to brand correct choices. But it too warns us that when nosotros brand correct choices to a greater extent than or less of our friends, family, in addition to co-workers may survive jealous, resentful in addition to cruel.
