Years agone I watched a tv set present that included a church building revival scene that went something similar this: As a adult woman approached the altar, the pastor asked, "Sister, are you lot a sinner? Do you lot desire to hold out saved?”
“I’m non a sinner,” she said, “but I desire to hold out saved.”
Music played every bit the pastor happily welcomed the novel “convert.”
Obviously, the scriptwriter didn’t empathize salvation. If nosotros aren't sinners, why would nosotros demand to hold out saved? Why would Christ accept died a cruel death?
Sin isn’t an optional chemical component division of salvation—it's the main chemical component division (Romans 3:23). We've been tried too convicted past times a perfect Judge, too "DNA" evidence proves our guilt.(1) We are doomed unless soul pays a debt nosotros cannot pay ourselves.
Praise God! Christ has paid that debt for whatever who admit they are sinners who demand a Savior.
If you’re i of those saved sinners, bring together me today inwards rejoicing inwards our Savior! (Romans 6:23).

(1) God is the eyewitness who sees all that nosotros produce too fifty-fifty knows our sinful thoughts (Hebrews 4:12-13); too our deoxyribonucleic acid proves nosotros are sons too daughters of our sinful begetter Adam (Genesis 5:1-3). Like Seth, nosotros are born inwards Adam’s fallen image.
