In Living inward the Midst of Deception nosotros noted iv of Jeremiah's characteristics that helped him stand upward theatre inward hard times. The Apostle Paul gives us a like event to follow:
1. Knowing God...
Paul longed to know God wholeheartedly (Philippians 3:8-10).
2. Speaking truth...
Paul was non ashamed of the gospel (Romans 1:16).
3. Trusting God...
Paul relied on Christ's forcefulness (Philippians 4:13).
4. Remaining loyal despite persecution...
Paul suffered as well as persevered (Romans 5:3; Romans 8:18; 2 Corinthians 11:23-29).
It's no coincidence that Paul refers to Jeremiah 9:23-24 inward both 1 Corinthians 1:31 as well as 2 Corinthians 10:17.
Thus says the Lord: “Let non the wise homo boast inward his wisdom, allow non the mighty homo boast inward his might, allow non the rich homo boast inward his riches, but allow him who boasts boast inward this, that he understands as well as knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, as well as righteousness inward the earth. For inward these things I delight, declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 9:23-24
