Christians are inwards a practiced procedure of “death” - dying to ourselves too living for Christ (Matthew 16:25), too this involves dying to impure, fleshly desires too seeking purity inwards Christ.
Paul reminds us inwards Romans 6:
"We are those who bring died to sin; how tin nosotros last inwards it whatever longer?... our one-time self was crucified amongst him too then that the torso ruled past times sin mightiness last done away with, that nosotros should no longer last slaves to sin— because anyone who has died has been ready costless from sin.”
Dying to impurity is similar waking from a cold, night grave too walking into the warm sunlight (Ephesians 5:8-14).
"For the flesh desires what is opposite to the Spirit...And those who belong to Christ Jesus bring crucified the flesh amongst its passions too desires." Galatians 5:17; 5:24.
Are you lot giving life to whatever fleshly desires? Seek God's tending inwards dying to them.
It's difficult to die, only it's the alone agency to last fully alive!(1)
