Our civilisation puts a high value on our "right" to brand choices, our "right" to define proficient together with evil according to our private standards.
God doesn't agree. He isn't "pro-choice" when it comes to moral values. He values correct choices, together with He warns us that to a greater extent than or less choices are harmful, dangerous, together with evil.
"There is a means that appears to move right, precisely inwards the destination it leads to death." Proverbs 14:12
Sin separates us from God (Isaiah 59:2), causing our prayers to hitting the wall (Psalm 66:18). Sin leads to self-deception (James 1:22-23), together with eventually leads to a seared conscience (1 Timothy 4:2).
God gives us the same advice He gave Cain almost choices:
"If y'all produce what is right, volition y'all non move accepted? But if y'all produce non produce what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to require maintain you, precisely y'all must dominion over it." Genesis 4:7
God's commands protect our hearts together with souls.
Our civilisation loves choice. God loves us.
