There are a release of paths to self-deception, but these 3 are frequently traveled:
1. Hearing but non obeying God's Word.
Do non simply heed to the word, too and thus deceive yourselves. Do what it says. James 1:22-25
2. Excusing sin.
If nosotros claim to hold out without sin, nosotros deceive ourselves too the truth is non inwards us. If nosotros confess our sins, he is faithful too exactly too volition forgive us our sins too purify us from all unrighteousness. If nosotros claim nosotros convey non sinned, nosotros brand him out to hold out a liar too his give-and-take is non inwards us. 1 John 1:8-10
Also encounter 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.
3. Thinking besides much of ourselves.
If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. Galatians 6:3
When nosotros run past times away self-deceived inwards whatever expanse of our lives, nosotros brand incorrect choices too harm our souls. Join me inwards praying through these 3 areas too squall for God's help to avoid them.
